If you haven't heard or seen his words on Instagram, I'm happy to be the one to introduce you... A best selling author, millions of followers. I first fell in love with his simple words, "She was wild, but loyal."
He's the kind of writer that knows you, even on the deepest of levels. Just scrolling through his Instagram profile, you're bound to find a quote, a phrase, a paragraph you relate to (even if you don't want to). I guarantee it. Take a look, but be warned, he's real real good.

My first Mother's Day I won't get to spend with my mama...
I can't give her a big hug, her card, or her gift in person. I can't share bottomless mimosas at brunch or a few glasses of wine at dinner together.
I sometimes feel guilty for moving far away from my mom and family.
Then, I remember feeling guilty is something my mother would not allow me to do.
The day I left to move from the Southwest to the Midwest was certainly one of the hardest days of my life. Yet it's one I won't forget. Because even through there were doubts and hesitations about me making the move in the first place... Through the long hugs and the gallons of tears, my mother proudly said, "Go, I need and want you to go. Do what you need to do to make yourself happy. I'm your biggest fan."
I miss her every single day..
But I remember those words (and her many other words of encouragement) and I can get through any day.
She's selfless and caring beyond words. She's resilient and will always have a smile on her face. She's fun and friendly, fearless and strong.
I could go on and on. There's many words to describe her, yet there's not enough.
She's my world and best friend. She's my mom.
Long, long, LONG overdue...
The resurrection my blog, jovanastewart.com
and my business, Jovana Stewart & Company from the dead.
Not sure how it got there, but not to fear.
She's alive! And she is well!

Old roommate, new roommates.
Designing the brand new, empty apartment from patio to living room, my room to my roommate's rooms.
And with my new place comes a fabulous kitchen that my alter ego, Chef Master J's can feel right at home in.
Getting back on my fitness and healthy lifestyle grind, full force.
Preparing for my first Chicago summer and all the endless excitement I have heard all about.
First Motivation Monday of the new year and this quote is just perfect for it.
Sometimes, when something (or someone) leaves your life, something (or someone) bigger and better is coming your way... Whether you believe in God or not.
I'm dubbing 2016, the year of upgrades.
Happy First Monday of the year.
I could write a long, lengthy, inspirationally witty post about 2015 coming to an end and welcoming 2016... But I got my "2015 reflecting and reminiscing" out of my system with my post - "To those who have turned 25 and those who have yet to."
Those cliche New Year's attitudes like - "New Year, New Me" - seem silly and we tend to shy away from them. Yet, I am going to say that I will make 2016 better than this past year. That's that.
Not too much pressure, no outrageous expectations. Just simply put - make the new year better than the last.
As hard as it is to admit, I am thankful for all that went on during this past year. Such as... my very first lawsuit, a summer in hell (figuratively and literally, AZ summers are brutal), starting your own business struggles and my favorite - moving back in with my mom. Most of these challenges were unwelcome but of course, lessons were learned.
However, I am even more thankful to lay 2015 to rest. And beyond ready to welcome this upcoming year of 2016. It's a NEW year in my NEW city. Sounds like 2016 is already off to a NEW and exciting start.
Adios 2015, welcome 2016!
